Of course, The Guardian minimizes the effect, and overstates the “expected” increase in average global temperatures by about double (3.75 C versus the equally bogus consensus of 2 C).

I would be more worried about a new Ice Age, which would more than likely entomb all of the major North American and European capitals under about a mile or so of ice.
